Ascension Episcopal Church is a small and lively, multi-generational congregation. We wrestle with and worship God as we journey together, doing our best to live out the Gospel in our community and the world. We encourage questions and conversation. We believe in the transformational love of Christ and invite you to join us, as we are all walking each other home.

We are more "low" church and casual, than "high" church, although there is variety within the congregation. We encourage you to worship in the way that the Spirit moves you. If that means kneeling during the Eucharist or raising your arms in praise or dancing in the aisle, you are welcome to do that. We are not a one-size fits all church, but we are a church that fits all sizes and styles.

1st Wednesday of each month (Septmeber-May), we have "Kid's Church"--Eucharist designed for young people to worship and learn about the deep love Jesus has for them. Service is followed by a family meal at 5:15. Contact The Rev. Amy Heimerl+ for more information.

On the 3rd Wednesday of every month, we offer a Special Needs Worship Service for people of all ages called "Joyful Noise". Families with young children are also welcome. We sing, dance, learn and have communion together. Contact The Rev. Amy Heimerl+ for more information.
