St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church - Simi Valley

BOGOTA' KIDS MISSION equips children for a brighter future by providing educational assistance, in a Christian environment, to underprivileged kids in Bogota', Colombia.

Its academic center, The Bridge, provides one on one help in reading, writing and mathematics as well as other scholastic requirements.  Because of this program, those attending school can overcome personal hurdles, complete homework assignments and progress in their studies.  Those who are currently not enrolled in school due to lack of openings, enter an intensive study program so that they are ready and up-to-date as soon as an opening for them occurs in the public school system.

At The Bridge children not only receive the resources they need to complete assignments but also can enjoy the play center and library available for their use.  Most importantly, the children participate daily in a devotional time where they read the Bible, lead in prayer, learn about God's redeeming grace and identify hope for their future.
