St. Margaret of Scotland Episcopal Church

Share a story

St. Margaret's of Scotland is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles within the Episcopal Church, which itself is a member of the Anglican Communion.

We believe that anyone who walks in our door has been sent by Christ. Therefore, the goals of St. Margaret's Church – a center of grace – and all of its related ministries are to build our relationships with God through Christ, and to build relationships with the people Christ has sent to us. We know that the greatest gift we can offer individuals is our belief that they are loved by God, through Jesus Christ.

Ministries

Infant Pantry

Food Pantries

St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church launched our Infant Pantry in September 2021.  We focus on families with infants/young children. Volunteers gather once a month, on a Saturday morning, where we offer diapers, wipes, formula, and nursing pads.  Volunteers dedicate from one to four hours, as their schedule permits, to distribute the items. Distribution days are busy and very rewarding.

Distribution takes place in our parking lot between 9:30am -11:30am using a drive-thru distribution method.

Homeless Meal Outreach

Meal Programs

In partnership with Welcome Interfaith Needs Network (INN), every third week, members of our community prepare and distribute evening meals to the homeless and working poor at Doheny Beach. Welcome INN was founded by volunteers who espouse the principle of caring for neighbors who are experiencing homelessness or poverty. Together, we ensure all who come are treated with dignity, love and respect.
