Chapel of the Holy Spirit

The Chapel of the Holy Spirit is the Episcopal and ELCA Chapel for Loyola, Tulane, & Xavier Universities in New Orleans. We are a campus ministry that provides a space for students to find a home while they are studying in New Orleans. We have weekly worship opportunities, bible studies, gatherings, and dinners for our students. We also try to provide a space for students to explore their faith and questions about Christianity, and we encourage their spiritual curiosity and ultimately their desire to be in relationship with God and the community of faith that is the Church.
Our Mission: Help all people, especially the students, faculty, and staff at the universities we serve, to find their own loving relationship with God and their place in the Beloved Community.
Worship times
Volunteer opportunities
We always need volunteers to provide a meal for students. If we are overrun with volunteers, then we can offer dinner on additional nights.
We also do accept donations for our student ministry which help to provide meals on nights when we do not have volunteers and provide materials for activities and books for studies/bible study.
