St. John's Episcopal Church

St. John’s Episcopal Church is a Christian parish within the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey. 

We are a 300+ year old church in Salem City.  Come and worship God with us!  Join us in serving alongside our neighbors in Salem.  Care for one another and be cared for in times of celebration and sorrow. Give prayerfully and mindfully of the stewardship of this historic place and the resources left to us by previous generations.  

We will be having some special services during Advent: 

12/21- Longest Night service- prayers for healing and wholeness for those who grieve during the Holiday Season- 7 pm in the Chapel 

12/22- Lessons and Carols at 10:30 am - a traditional service from the Anglican tradition stories and songs to prepare the path for Christ to come

12/ 24- Sunset Service- 4 pm - All Ages pagaent and Blessing of the Creche- with a Birthday Cake for Baby Jesus

12/24 Candlelight Service at 8 pm- Choral Eucharist with Carols and Organ music
