Church of St. James the Less

Our annual Music Benefit Concert raises money to send 40 at-risk children from the Edward Williams School in Mt. Vernon to eight weeks of summmer day camp at Camp Wagon Road in Chappaqua.

The children are picked up each morning in Mt. Veron and bused to Camp Wagon Road in Chappaqua.  They have swimming, horseback riding, and many other supervised activities.

Hours of operation:

Five days a week in the summer for eight weeks.

Trip destination:

Haiti

Our Christian Education Director and Music Director went to Haiti in May of 2013 for a Haiti Conference and to work with St. Vincent's School and the music program of Holy Trinity Cathedral.

We collect food several Sundays a month and deliver it to the Scarsdale Interfaith Food Pantry.  Our Jr. Youth Group goes to Scarsdale Synagogue regularly to sort and pack bags for distribution.
