Grace Episcopal Church

Share a story

A parish of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of North Carolina.  The facilities consist of our historic chapel, built in 1902, an education wing that currently houses our Paris h Hall, classrooms, and offices, and our main Nave/Sanctuary building built in 1988.  Our worship style is "broad church" -- with one service on the average Sunday -- 10:30 AM service of Holy Communion in the main Church, with music and choir, Rite II and Rite I according to The Book of Common Prayer, 1979.  9:30 AM to 10:15 is our time for Christian formation for both children and adults.  There is fellowship and coffee following the 10:30 AM service in Parish Hall.  Sunday is also the day that Grace Food Ministries serves a "Sunday lunch" for citizens of Lexington and greater Davidson County as well as shut-ins of Grace Church.  The lunch is served by teams from neighboring Lexington Churches and parishioners.
