St. James' Episcopal Church

With origins dating back to the 1700s, St. James Parish Church has spent most of its history as part of The Episcopal Church. A schism in the church caused tremendous heartache for many parishioners, and as St. James Episcopal Church returns to The Episcopal Church in December 2022 after a hiatus of 10 years, we welcome you to come worship God in this historic place. St. James Episcopal Church is a welcoming place for all.  No exceptions! We move forward in love, focused on the ministry of serving God and our neighbor in the James Island community and beyond.
