Share a story

All Saints is a friendly, Christ-centered community seeking spiritual growth. Our mission is to embrace fellowship and belonging as we share Christ’s love through service to our church family and community. We seek God’s guidance to be a welcoming, vibrant, and active parish family as we grow spiritually, care for one another, and reach out to our community.

Donation Coordination/Distribution

The project, a program of One Community Now, is designed to target chronically hungry students who receive free breakfast and lunch on school days but are food insufficient on the weekend.

All Saints became involved in this project in the 2016-2017 School year. In that year we provided food to 12 students on a weekly basis at a local school. Each year we have expanded our participation, and as a result, in 2023 we provide food for 85 students on a weekly basis, a total of 2815 bags for the school year. It is important to note that one of the schools supported by the program is a charter school serving children with various degrees of learning disabilities and another is a public school that serves high risk students.

Our 80-some volunteers use their hands, feet, and hearts in various ways to support this project. Our project leader is our liaison to One Community Now and oversees our entire effort. She also writes grant applications, purchases the food, and keeps track of expenses. A host of volunteers prepare the room for packing day (once a month), lead and pack sacks following Sunday services, and make deliveries to the schools. We also have a team of volunteers who plan and fundraise in preparation of One Community Now's annual fundraising event - "Pack the Park" - and whose efforts in 2023 won All Saints the trophy for the most funds raised by an organization.

The New Hope Clinic is a health clinic established by the Foundation within the municipality of Orica, Honduras. The building of the new clinic and its operations are fully funded and directed by The Foundation for International Missions.  Staff salaries are also funded by FFIM.  The only other healthcare clinic in Orica is a government-sponsored center that sees a limited number of patients and is frequently without medications and supplies.  The vision of the New Hope Clinic is one of ministry to the whole person, not just the person’s health.

Members of All Saints participate in Mission trips to the area of Orica, critical to the overall mission.  Although the medical clinic (the New Hope Clinic) is located in San Francisco de Orica, the 53 villages that we serve are spread throughout the municipality of Orica.  Most of the villagers do not own cars and must walk many miles over dusty dirt roads to reach the clinic.
