St. John's Episcopal Church Tampa is a vibrant, growing parish located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South Tampa. Our mission is to proclaim, by word and example, the good news of God in Christ, and to build a spiritual community forming Christians of all ages through education, worship and outreach. We invite you to visit our beautiful historic church and hear our angelic Anglican-style choir. Our Sunday Services: Join us for the Holy Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. (Rite I) and 9:30 a.m. (Rite II). Join us for Christian formation classes for all ages after the 9:30am service. Time for fellowship in the form of Coffee Hour takes place after each service in either our Parish Hall or lovely Courtyard. Dominican Development Group
St. John's has a 15+ year history of sending youth and adult missions to many areas of the Dominican Republic to support the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic.
We have worked with our Dominican brothers and sisters to build and repair churches, schools, houses, sent medical missionaries, and taught VBS.
