Our PurposePutting faith into practice.
Our purpose is what we strive for and work toward. This is how we hope to live, with God’s help, as followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission: Grounded in the reconciling love of Jesus Christ, we strengthen relationships with God and one another through worship, spiritual formation, and service.

The Book of Common Prayer states that “The mission of the Church is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.” At All Saints, we seek to live this out by being welcoming and inclusive to all people. Our church helps people strengthen their relationship with God and all creation by offering meaningful worship, formation and education to grow in their spiritual lives, and by providing opportunities to engage in direct action in working for peace and justice.

Our Values: These are the values held and cherished by All Saints, from our earliest years as a parish, to their recent articulation by our Vestry: Faith - “An assurance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11:1). It is living boldly in God’s grace, both in our worship and in our work. Love - Sharing the concern and affection that God has for humankind by sharing that love with one another. In the words of our Baptismal Covenant, it is seeking and serving Christ in all persons, striving for justice and peace among all people, and respecting the dignity of every human being. Fellowship - A community in right relationship with God and others, sharing a unity of purpose and spirit in the life of Christ. Inclusion - Providing an environment that celebrates the acceptance and participation of all. Supporting everyone to feel that they belong. Social Justice - The belief that all creation is the work of a loving God, deserving of respect and care. It includes the work of confronting injustice and striving toward reconciliation.

Sudanese Education Project

Career Services and Education

About 15 years ago, many "Lost Boys and Girls of the Sudan" came to All Saints Church.  In order to support them in education, we began yearly fund-raising to build a pot of money for education.  At the beginning the men were able to draw from the fund, but now it is important to offer funds to the women, as their lives change and they need to seek employment.  To date All Saints has raised more than $100,000 through events.  One member of the Sudanese congregation has been ordained a priest and other members are part of the Vestry.

The premier Sunday music event is the All Saints Choir.  In addition, Taizé music is offered at Vespers once a month.  Sine Nomine, an early music group with both parishioner and outside participants performs several times a year.  Occasional outside groups are the One Voice Community Choir and the Sacred Harp Singers.

Sacred Ground Race Dialogue Circles

Racial Reconciliation
Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground is dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race, racism, and whiteness while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. The 10-part series is built around a powerful online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories.

Sacred Ground is a resource coming out of Becoming Beloved Community, The Episcopal Church’s long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society. This series is especially designed to help white people talk with other white people, while being open to all racial/ethnic groups. Participants are invited to peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day – all while grounded in our call to faith, hope and love.
