Welcome. Worship. Learn. Serve. Give. Connect. The Lawrence House Service Corps engages young adults in living a life that matters, learning to connect their spiritual lives with work that makes a difference in the world.

A Year Living Intentionally, Working to Change the World.

The Lawrence House Service Corps is sponsored by All Saints’ Episcopal Church in South Hadley, MA. Each year six young adults (ages 21-32) will have the opportunity to live by a Rule of Life in intentional community, sharing meals, formation, and a spiritual journey. They will serve full-time internships in local agencies, engaging in work that helps to serve others and change the world. And they will be supported by spiritual formation, vocational discernment, room, board, and a small stipend.

Using a service/learning or action/reflection model, in developing spiritual disciplines, engaging in intentional vocational discernment for ministry (not limited to ordained ministry), and helping commit to a lifetime of faithful service, Lawrence House opens up what it means “to be church.” We aspire to transforming the community, and young adults’ perception of what church community can be. We dream of taking the next step in God’s call to transform our corner of the world.
