Boyne City is a vibrant small town with a year-round population of 3,800. The summer season brings resorters (who stay a month or more) and tourists. We are located on the shores of Lake Charlevoix, with its access to Lake Michigan.

Church of the Nativity offers engaging worship, pastoral care and education to the community.

Nativity has a partnership with Good Neighbors Food Pantry of Boyne City. In addition to providing support and volunteers for the pantry, Nativity uses its back yard as a produce garden. Church volunteers till, plant, water, weed, and harvest. Vegetables are harvested and delivered to Good Neighbors on a regular schedule through the summer months.

Downtown Boyne City offers “Stroll the Streets” on Friday evenings all summer. Church of the Nativity is on one of the streets where many visitors park, so we offer “Blessings To Go”. Signs facing up and down the sidewalk say, “Blessings To Go – Let Us Pray With You”. People stop to ask prayers for themselves and loved ones. Sometimes prayers are for physical healing, sometimes for a young person going into the military or off to college, sometimes for a blessing of a family gathering.
