Ministries
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES
Professional infant care during worship, up to age 3.
Youth group (presently age 13-17) meets weekly for dinner and ministry. The youth group packs food for elementary students identified as being at risk of hunger on weekends - once/month. They repackage 50-pound bags of beans & rice into 1-pound packages for distribution at the local food bank - once/month. They take on a changing & sometimes unique ministry - once/month, and have a purely fun / recreational event - once/month.
DONATION COORDINATION/DISTRIBUTION
Personal-sized toiletries are collected each week for the local rescue mission.
Ingatherings of food benefit Interfaith Assistance Ministries of Henderson County, weekly and on special occasions.
Fabric is collected weekly for use by the Asheville/Buncombe County Christian Ministries outreach to veterans.
