St. Luke's Episcopal Church

Inspired by St. Luke, Gospel writer and evangelist, who encourages us all to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, Historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in New Orleans is rooted in worship that reflects our commitment to justice and joy.
As a multicultural, multiethnic faith community, St. Luke’s is a truly unique Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Louisiana. Our congregation comes from around the city and around the world. Sunday morning worship is a lively blend of Anglican, African, African-American, and Caribbean influences.
We are located on North Dorgenois Street, a block off Broad Street between Barracks and Governor Nicholls, in the historic Tremé neighborhood. St. Luke's is proud to be the site of the National Blessed Frances Joseph-Gaudet Shrine.
