We are a congregation of the Episcopal Church located in historic downtown Frankfort, capital city of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. People of faith have worshipped at this site since 1836. We open our doors daily for timeless worship, thoughtful study, meaningful service, and hearts embraced by Christ. We are an affirming church. We believe God accepts people of every race, culture, age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, educational level and economic status... and so must we.

The Holy Eucharist, Rite II: Typically the largest weekly gathering of our parish family, this service features congregational hymns and anthems by our choir. Immediately after the 10:30 service – all are welcome for coffee hour in the parish hall

The Holy Eucharist, Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m. This short mid-week service helps restore and renew the spirits. About 30 minutes long, the service gives participants an opportunity to participate in a quiet, reflective time of prayer and worship before returning to the demands of their daily lives.

Taize-based Holy Eucharist: Every Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Ascension offers a Contemplative Holy Eucharist. This service is very different liturgy than the Sunday morning services. The liturgy comes from approved supplemental liturgies to the Book of Common Prayer. Taize meditative music is prominently featured.
