St. George, Maple Valley

We believe that God loves all people equally - no exceptions - and that there is a place for you at at St George and God's table.

You are welcome here regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious background, life experience or questions.

Our church, the Body of Christ, is open, online, and in the world.

St George is an intergenerational inclusive family of faith that welcomes you wherever you are on your faith journey.  We strive to be a church that looks and acts like Jesus.  We care about the local and global wider community putting that care into action by supporting organizations such as the Maple Valley Food Bank, Vine Maple Place, Episcopal Relief and Development, support of marginalized communities, and other service organizations. We pray together knowing God will give us strength and wisdom for the work we are called to do in the world.

We are an Episcopal congregation, honoring the best in protestant, catholic, and orthodox traditions.

Newcomers will notice that we follow a comfortable order to the service every week with:

• Four bible readings
• A sermon reflecting on the readings and events in the world
• The sharing of the peace 
• Holy Communion
• Songs of worship throughout the service

We have two Sunday worship services with coffee hour and Sunday school for children and youth between the services.  The nursery is available for both services.

We also invite you to walk the labyrinth to meditate and pray in our cathedral of trees at any time.
