God is making himself a living reality in this world through the ministry of Saint Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Temecula, California. Saint Thomas of Canterbury is a growing, energetic congregation that welcomes everyone looking for a place to worship and serve God. We focus our ministries on What Every Christian Should Do — worship, evangelism, community, service and discipleship. We encourage you to experience what we have to offer by joining us at one of our inspirational services.

Saint Thomas of Canterbury offers an array of worship experiences with two Sunday services and a midweek service on Wednesday evenings, and numerous bible studies along with an active youth group. We also have several special services throughout the year including Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, and Blessing of the Animals. All of this helps meet the needs of those seeking to enrich their spiritual lives.

Here at Saint Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church we welcome all pets and their well behaved owners at any of our services, in addition to our Annual Blessing of the Animals!

Our Mission is to share Christ’s life-changing love with all people, invite and welcome them into the membership of the Body of Christ, and equip them for worship, ministry, and service at Saint Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church of Temecula.

Sacred Ground Race Dialogue Circles

Racial Reconciliation
Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground is dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race, racism, and whiteness while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. The 10-part series is built around a powerful online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories.

Sacred Ground is a resource coming out of Becoming Beloved Community, The Episcopal Church’s long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society. This series is especially designed to help white people talk with other white people, while being open to all racial/ethnic groups. Participants are invited to peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day – all while grounded in our call to faith, hope and love.
