Responding to a tornadoes in Texas

Episcopal Relief & Development worked with the Episcopal Diocese of Texas to provide financial assistance to those affected by the tornadoes in Upshur County, TX, in March 2022. The program focused on underserved populations such as the uninsured, elderly, single parents, disabled and those who might not have necessary ID for other services.

Trinity Episcopal Church reached out to their community and was able help an elderly family for whom a tree fell on their home and greatly damaged it. The church was also present in the community to listen and pray.
