East Carolina and North Carolina: Recovery and Resilience

The Dioceses of North Carolina and East Carolina are working with Episcopal Relief & Development through the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry (EFWM) to provide disaster recovery, increase resilience, and develop leadership among migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Program activities include providing home repairs, healthy food, hygiene items, cleaning supplies and PPE to families. The program disburses information about disaster risk reduction and COVID-19 to the community through a peer-to-peer education framework.
