Recovering from Hurricane Ida in Louisiana

Hurricane Ida devastated the state of Louisiana in August of 2021. Episcopal Relief & Development is partnering with the diocese to help families pay rent and buy domestic appliances that were destroyed in the flooding. The program hired a project coordinator to visit homes, interview victims and connect vulnerable people to resources with a focus on the Latinx community, single mothers, older adults and those with special needs.
