WE BELIEVE a personal relationship with God allows all people to realize and celebrate life to the fullest. Through Scripture, tradition, and reason Calvary Church seeks to be responsive to the challenges of social justice, diversity, and environmental issues facing the world.
WE WORSHIP in a safe and validating church home. Our services, in-person and online, provide depth and variety through ritual, Scripture, music, and conversation. Our congregation is committed to welcoming traditional and same-sex couples and families as well as people of many ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. We are a thoughtful and dedicated parish with strong support from the Diocese of Missouri.
WE SERVE a broad community from our downtown Columbia location. This enables us to engage with the local college and university students, the unhoused, and to provide a meeting place for many community cultural, and support groups that benefit society. We work with other churches on ecumenical efforts and believe in continuing to work toward creating a congregation that represents all of our community.
All are welcome here.

Blessing Box
"Take What You Want, Leave What You Can." In order to continue to serve the homeless in our area while our churches are closed, Calvary has affixed a box to the wall at the side door to the church (a covered area) which contains water, non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, hand sanitizer, and face masks (when available). The box is unlocked enabling persons to come and take what they need when they need it. Contact the church to offer donations to keep the box supplied: info@calvaryonninth.org
