Hope Episcopal Church

In 2023 Church of the Good Shepherd, Town & Country, merged with St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Manchester, to become Hope Episcopal Church. We are one of the newest missional communities in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri. Our goal is to create a community of faith where all people, regardless of their religious background, find community and connection.

Volunteer opportunities
Shepherd Farm, our church garden, is very welcoming of volunteers. On our 30x90' plot we grow more than 2,000 pounds of produce per year, which we give away.. We have happily welcomed groups of youth, adults, and mixed-age groups for one-day mission opportunities as well as for overnight stays. (Please note we do not have shower facilities.) So far we have welcomed groups from other Episcopal churches in the area, as well as from states as far away as California. We also have local individuals from outside the parish who volunteer on a weekly basis for specific periods of time. From March through November, tasks include not just planting and harvesting, but also weighing produce, record-keeping, and transporting produce to food pantries and feeding programs.
