The Canterbury House of Lawrence

Share a story

The St. Anselm’s Canterbury House of Lawrence provides a safe place where students can come together and explore their life of faith as shown to them through the life of Jesus Christ as they ask critical questions and experience the love of Christ through others and thereby find their spirituality deepened.

The house holds up to five student peer ministers (students selected for their desire to lead ministry in the wider Lawrence community while deepening their own faith) and one Program Assistant at a time with any number of out-of-house peer ministers who carry out the daily work of the ministry.

There is a free dinner and program every Tuesday 6-7:15 pm during the Fall and Spring Semester. All are welcome!

Students can also stop-by Blessings-on-the-Go at Wescoe Beach on KU's campus Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30-1 for snacks and a prayer!
